Paris Bound!

Bonjour Mes Amis!

Je vais aller a Paris demain!!! (I'm going to Paris tomorrow!!!)  I'm very excited to see the capital of France...and the Eiffel Tower!  However, I think I'm more excited to see my dad, mom, and sister on Sunday!

A couple things have happened since I last posted a blog.  First, on Friday, we had our French midterm.  It was a three hour test!  It reminded me of an SAT, only this one was about the French language.  We received our tests back yesterday, and I did very well.  I got a 17/20.  Now, I know that a 17/20 calculates to an 85%, but I'm not in the USA anymore!!!  In France, there is a different grading scale.  So my 17/20 "translates" into an A.  However, I think I was more excited about receiving an extra credit point on my french composition.  For the composition part, we had to write an e-mail to someone recounting our experience in France so far.  Marie told me that mine was long and, most importantly, well written and she thought I deserved an extra credit point.  I was so excited!  I'm going to show you all the e-mail so you can all see what I've been learning in French class:

Bonjour!

I'm not translating this, because it will take too long.  Even if you do not know the French language, some words should be recognizable.  If you want to know what it says, there are online translators.

On Saturday, Katie, Joe, and I got haircuts.  I think this was the most expensive haircut ever....42 Euros...sorry dad.  However, whatever they washed my hair with, made it sooo soft!  My hair, even 4 days later is soft.  Katie can relate to this since we keep telling everyone how soft our hair is.

In the meantime, we have made some trips to Geant to get things we needed for Paris.  Samantha, I got us some Bueno bars, chocolate, and cookies.  Since Sammy and I have our own hotel room during spring break....partyyy!!!

I have also been trying to study anatomy, since we have an exam when we come back from spring break.  Sadly, I will have to keep up with my anatomy studies during the time we are on break.

I should have internet in Paris and also in Italy when I'm with my parents.  I won't be at my computer a lot, probably only during my nighttime (but thats afternoon/evening in the USA).  I'll try to keep this blog updated daily while I'm gone with what is going on, along with pictures, so keep checking!!
